3M 8673 and 8673DL are made from an abrasion-resistant polyurethane elastomer that resists punctures, tears, abrasion, and erosion.
These products are formulated for long-term resistance to ultraviolet (UV) light.
3M 8673 Tape and 3M 8673DL Tape provide a simple, easy method of protecting a surface from abrasion and minor impact damage.

3M 8673 and 8673DL Tapes are available in transparent versions only.
8673 Polyurethane Protective tape is for erosion protection that is not installed on a heated substrate or component.
They can be installed in a minimal amount of time with simple tools.
They may be painted or applied over painted surfaces. 3M 8673 and 8673DL Tapes are constructed with a durable, solvent-resistant, pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive that is protected with an easy release liner.
In addition, 3M 8673DL Tape is supplied with a top liner used as an aid for wide web applications.
The top liner is removed after installation.
